Hi Elaine, good question. We don’t believe there is a trade body which represents literary managers, but believe there is one for literary agents and agencies.

Great article, thank you! I would love to know if there is a professional association that serves literary managers, has ethics guidelines, and/or offers credentials. Thank you for considering my question.

I have my script, “March” — a #MeToo-era Girls Trip meets The Big Chill — under consideration with two execs right now, but would rather work with a literary manager. It’s a timely script, perfect for our political climate today: LOGLINE –
On the cusp of Trump’s inauguration, a group of childhood friends reconnect for a getaway in a mountain ski town, but amidst the festivities surrounding a local installment of the Women’s March, a buried trauma is triggered that must be bravely voiced in order to heal.

That being said I also believe the movie-going public will be ready for an epic blockbuster movie like “The Ten Commandments,” and/or “Cleopatra.” I’ve written a screenplay named, “ALOOT, A Life, Out Of Time. It’s about an elite New York film editor who gets regressed back to ancient Egypt, where he lives the epic life and times of Horemheb, the little known last pharaoh of the 18th dynasty. It is there, in ancient Egypt that our hero violently interacts with the beautiful Queen Nefertiti, the heretic pharaoh Akhanaten; the real Moses, and murders the boy king Tutankhamun on his way to pharaonic kingship.
I’m in search of a script manager or producer to start the ball rolling.

I’ve written two original screenplays, ONE DOG’S LIFE (dog begs to be turned human, then begs to be turned back again) and THE JONES BOYS (14-year-old electric guitar genius rocks a nation). Agents and mangers…love to send ’em to you!!

Thx.

Genres: Action, War, Thriller and Horror, if any agent wants to make money!
As an ex soldier, the War and Action scripts are authentic.
Some are low budget, and located far from the virus. Quick to shoot with skeleton crews.
I can re-write fast where needed. Happy to send full scripts with release forms.
I wrote and produced a teen Action movie, Fight Back, which was on Netflix for two years.
20 actors and 16 locations, so know the drill.
